Learn more about MSC and our admissions and enrollment process
Requirements
- Students must be at least three years old by September 1.
- Students must be independently toilet-trained.
- Families must complete an MSC Connect session/ school tour, submit an Application, and applicants must complete a student visit for enrollment consideration. Records submission may be required.
- Registration is required for MSC Connect sessions, and an appointment is required to tour the school. To register to attend MSC Connect, you may complete this form. To make an appointment to tour the school, please contact Sarah McCants, MSC Admissions Coordinator.
Application
You may submit an MSC Application for Admission at any time, but we recommend applying soon after touring the school—up to a year before enrollment. A $75 nonrefundable Application fee is required alongside the Application and must be received before your child attends a student visit.
This Application is subject to the following conditions:
- Preference is given to applicants with siblings currently enrolled and those with prior Montessori experience.
- We may contact your child’s previous schools, teachers, or childcare providers for relevant educational background. The Authorization for Release of Information form in the Application grants permission for record requests.
- Submitting an Application does not guarantee acceptance. If accepted, you will receive an enrollment contract.
At MSC, we strive to cultivate an inclusive environment that is open, welcoming, and supportive of all individuals. We recognize diversity at our school is essential to providing academic excellence and critical to our sustainability. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, creed, disability, national origin, ethnicity, age or any other basis protected by federal or state law. We celebrate the diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences of our community, employees, and families.
Students with unique learning, behavioral, or emotional needs may require additional support beyond what MSC can provide. While we do not have staff specifically trained for individualized accommodations, we encourage full disclosure of relevant medical, psychological, or social/emotional information in the application to ensure the best possible assessment of your child’s needs.
By submitting an Application, you consent to receiving communications from MSC.
Application Deadlines
We have finalized contracts for the 2025-2026 school year. We are accepting Applications for 2026-2027 and for students to join our wait pool for the 2025-2026 school year.
The application process is considered complete once you have:
✔ Attended an MSC Connect session or individual tour
✔ Submitted the application and paid the $75 fee
✔ Completed a student visit (child only)
The priority deadline for first-round enrollment offers for the 2026-2027 academic year is Friday, December 5, 2025, with enrollment decisions made in February 2026. All classrooms are currently full for the 2025-2026 school year, but spots will occasionally open, and joining the wait pool with an Application is encouraged.
If Applications exceed available spots in a particular grade level, a wait pool will be created. More details on the wait pool process are below.
We recognize that the Application process can be complex. Our Admissions Coordinator, Sarah McCants, is available to assist you. Please reach out with any questions or feedback.
