Aftercare Facts
For students in Primary (3K-5K), Aftercare runs from 2:30 pm – 5:45 pm daily. For students in Elementary (grades 1-6), it runs from 2:45 pm – 5:45 pm daily.
Aftercare takes place on campus in designated Aftercare spaces. Primary and Elementary Aftercare are two different programs to adapt to the different ages and developmental needs.
We do not have a drop-in Aftercare option. In order for the programs to be safe, we must be able to predict the amount of students to staff the Aftercare programs properly. You may opt in to Aftercare and choose days on which your child will attend.
All current MSC students who are enrolled in Aftercare may attend each day.
A small snack is provided for Aftercare students. If your child has special dietary needs, you may send an extra snack to school with them.
Put simply: no. We believe that students at MSC should work hard on their lessons during class time and have time to play and relax after school. In Aftercare, teachers will follow the tenets of respecting the child and aiding in independence, and the use of Montessori materials will be reserved for the classroom during the school day.
In Aftercare, children play outdoors, do arts and crafts, play with toys and board games, and read.
How much does it cost?
Payment options for our Aftercare program are as it follows:

These programs are subject to change annually.
* This after school enrichment is hosted at our school by a third party. All registration and payments will be through said third party. Primary students must be registered for Aftercare to be eligible for after school enrichments.
** This after school enrichment is hosted at MSC by MSC staff. All registration and payment will be through MSC Business Manager/CFO, Brittney Marshall, in the front office.
***Yearbook is after school and hosted by MSC. It is available to Upper Elementary students at no additional cost. Application and registration process for student yearbook staff takes place through Yearbook teachers, Mr. Sidney Little and Mrs. Andrea Rayle.
